It had been over a month since Rachel and Scotty had, for lack of better words, gotten back together and things had been going well. They saw each other as often as they could, sometimes even meeting halfway just to have a night together. Then work got busier for both of them and Rachel had to go out of town. That caused them to go almost two weeks without seeing each other, only having phone calls and text messages.

Rachel had been in LA for a week and the second she got home, she dropped off all her luggage, changed clothes, packed a gym bag, and headed out again. This time she was on a plane to Philly. Rachel had too much time to think, that never went well and not enough time with Scotty so by the time she'd gotten home, she'd worked herself up into a frenzy.

By the time she'd gotten to Scotty's, he wasn't there. It wasn't like she called and told him she was coming. Not sure what else do to aside from call him, she took a cab to the precinct where he worked and walked inside, looking around.

s!p verse - movie night

Something that had started out random was now a weekly thing for Dom and Rachel. Every Thursday was now movie night, had been for at least the past two months. Sometimes they went out to a movie but mostly, they stayed in. It was usually the two of them but sometimes some of their friends dropped in. While she liked Dom's friends and didn't mind them coming around, sometimes she just wanted him all to herself.

Tonight was Thursday and Rachel had a special movie for Dom to see. She'd been excited and couldn't wait to show it to him. She set the actual movie on the DVD player and the 'special' one on top of it, deciding she'd tell him to put that one in when they were ready.

She'd just walked back downstairs when she heard Dom come in, sighing to herself when two of his friends followed him inside. Apparently her DVD would have to wait.
